Before I took a bus tour up to the Sacramento River Delta, I had little idea of just how much of a treasure the area is. It's full of history, totally picturesque, and has places I had no idea would exist in a river delta - including vineyards! Like this one, across from a winetasting complex known as The Old Sugar Mill.
